Apple Class celebrate World Book Day!

Apple Class had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day! The children looked great in their costumes and it was a busy day full of activities. We kicked off the morning with our shared reading session with Sequoia. Then we had the task of decorating our class door. We really enjoyed reading Elmer earlier in the year and thought this would be a great idea and full of bright colours and patterns. The children all decorated patches and helped to construct the trunk and ears. Putting up the patches was quite the task, but we managed it. There was a lot of team work involved and the children celebrated their hard work. In between all of these activities, we squeezed in a story or two!
