Reception Awards 17.9.21

 


We have had a fantastic week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.


The following children have been awarded the E for Excellence

Apple: Tommy, for settling in so well into Reception! You have been super duper helpful all week and are always excited about your learning.

Aspen:  Alexandra, for such a positive start to the Reception year. Alexandra has made lots of new friends, followed the class routines and immersed herself in her learning.

Alder: Sophia, for her excellent start to Reception. Sophia has shown excellent listening skills and has been a great role model in class. Well done for being a superstar!





 Star Writers 

Apple: William, for his fantastic efforts in Read Write Inc. You have been trying so hard with your letter formation. Well done!

Aspen: Jaabir, for his great letter formation during our Read, Write, Inc sessions this week. Keep up the great work Jaabir!

Alder:  Ameera, for her fant5astic leter formation. Ameera not only wrote what Mrs. Chappel asked but went on to practice independently. 










Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 
This has been awarded to:

Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 
This has been awarded to:

Esmee, Sonny & Martyn








Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 
This has been awarded to:

Harry, Oneyka, Eric





Reflectiveness 
These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 
This has been awarded to:

Desara, Emily, Zofia
