Two year old focus
This week we have been learning to count up to five using actions eg clapping five times, five jumps etc. The children enjoyed hunting for five items around the nursery and counting the items to double check they were correct. We sang ‘Miss polly had a dolly’ using props and actions to support our speech development.
Our topic focused learning
This week the children enjoyed hunting for leaves on the school grounds. We discussed colours, seasons, numbers, shapes and sizes of the leaves they found. The children used the leaves in their play and for story time, reading books like ‘fall leaves fall’.
Moments to remember this week
Children in need
The children enjoyed wearing their spots and decorating our giant pudsey bear for the school competition. They used leaf printing and craft paper to make patterns.
Thank you for your donations and support with all the lovely outfits.
