Book of the week
The children have enjoyed listening to the story; Stick man by Julia Donaldson. We have been acting out the story using our own stick man made with sticks and string. The children have enjoyed retelling the story amongst themselves and saying the main phrases. Some of the children have been identifying emotions of the character throughout the story, identifying when he was feeling happy, sad and angry.
“Stick man is feeling lonely, he’s on the blue face”
Said Emma, using the zones of regulation to identify emotions
Christmas Concert
We are so proud of all the children who took part in the Christmas concerts this week! You did us proud and we know that your parents and carers were beaming with delight to see you perform! Thank you to our Digital Leaders from year six who did a fantastic job with filming for us!

The children have enjoyed getting into the festive spirit for Christmas!
Christmas celebrations
The children have enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and watching the stickman movie. We all enjoyed our very special Christmas dinner down in the school hall. The children ate their packed lunches and christmas meal along with their teachers and peers across the school, singing songs, pulling crackers and wearing our christmas hats.
From the Nursery team we wish you a merry christmas and a safe holiday season. As well as a huge thank you for all of the kind gifts, cards, well wishes and support throughout this term. We really appreciate everything you do as parents to support the children and the nursery.
Thank you
