Week 5 Reception awards- 3.12.21





We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Alder

Ameera, for noticing your special friends from RWI around the school on your walk to the lunch hall. Keep being excellent! 




Apple: 

Harry, for your fantastic singing skills in preparation for our Christmas concert. Well done for being a role model to others. You are AMAZING!


 

Aspen:  

Finley, for always trying your best in all that you do. You are a great role model to your peers. Keep up the amazing efforts, We are super proud of you!



 Star Writers 

Alder

Onyeka, for your excellent work during literacy. You worked independently to write a sentence and remembered to use a capital letter and a full stop. Keep up the good work Onyeka! 



Apple: 

Abbas, for your amazing work in Read Write Inc. You have been working hard to improve your pencil grip and write the sounds independently. 



Aspen: 

Harvey,  well done for working super hard with your letter information and for using your sounds to help you write your spelling words during Read, Write, Inc. Keep up the amazing work!


 


 

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have read five books from our '105 Books to Read Before you Leave Broadford' and have received the Bronze Reading Award.

A big congratulations to Sophia from Alder Class for her amazing achievement in swimming. Sophia has been working hard in her swimming lessons, and has been awarded a certificate for swimming at least 5metres with a buoyancy aid (no armbands). This is fantastic, Sophia and such an important life skill. Keep up the hard work.
