Story of the week

We continued the story 'The Tiger who came to tea' this week and enjoyed a special visit from a lovely! The children received a letter from the Tiger and enjoyed making cheese and jam bagels for the tiger to enjoy, we shared the food together and the tiger had a special cup of tea.

Focus activities

The children learnt that tigers can live in the jungle. They have been naming the jungle animals and we have been playing memory games including remembering which jungle animal had been hidden.

Fun with numbers

We have been using the Ten Town programme to learn our numbers. We have revised the number zero and have learn all about King One, we know that you can write the number 1 by remembering 'From top to toe and there you go!'. You can practice writing 0 and 1 at home with the children.

World book day fun!

We love reading stories in Nursery, the children really enjoyed dressing up and sharing their favourite books for world book day. Even the teachers joined in the fun.

Outdoor play

The children have been enjoying creatively building obstacle courses from different materials. We have been practicing how to balance, move through, up and over a variety of obstacles.

Creative play

The children have been busy making cards for their loved ones as a part of our mothers day celebrations. From finger print painting, pattern making and writing our names, we have been determined to progress our fine motor skills.

We had lots of fun this week, we hope you did too!
