Term: Autumn 2 Date 16.11.15
This week we will be looking at the primary
colours. Our story of the week is ‘Hello Red Fox’, we will be singing ‘5 Little
Ducks went swimming one day’ and ‘Jack and Jill’. We will be making puppets and modelling how
to use the puppet theatre
We will also be setting up a tent as we want the
children to explore torches and shadows.
We will be reading non-fiction texts about day, night and shadows.
Personal, Social and Emotional

- Beginning to organise and categories objects, e.g. putting all the
teddy bears together or teddies and cars in separate piles.

from, others.
- Is curious about people and shows interest in stories about themselves and their family.

stories about themselves, their families and other people.

The learning
challenge will include either a nursery rhyme, illustration or a piece of
music. Please talk to your child about the challenge and help them to engage in
their learning. The children can choose how they present
their learning challenge outcomes to their teacher or class however the table
below details some ideas for the learning challenge.

Messages.
We will continue to develop the 'I can put my coat on' display Once
the children demonstrate that they can put their own coats on we will put their
photo on the board. Once this has been achieved by all of the children we
will change the objective.
