Adrian's daddy very kindly visited our afternoon nursery to show the children how to make some Brazilian sweets. He brought in two different kinds of ready made mixture for the children to scoop up onto a tea spoon. They then rolled the mixture between their hands until they made a ball shape. Some of the children commented that it looked just like play dough although I am sure it tasted much better. One type of mixture contained coconut and the other contained chocolate. The chocolate sweets were called Brigadeiro and the coconut sweets were called Beijinwo. Adrian's daddy also made a delicious sweet dish for all the teachers called Passion Fruit Pave. Everybody including the children and the adults said they tasted scrumptious. A big thank you to Adrian's daddy.
