Digging for phonics!

The children enjoyed looking for letters in the sand. They developed their physical skills by digging and patting the sand, they also enjoyed building castles and then they dug the sand looking for the buried phonics to decorate their castles.

 

Brooke found a 'd' and said 'd d d dinosaur'

Alfie found an 'a' and said 'I have an a in my name'

Siena said 'This is from my name' holding up a 's'

Jacob enthusiastically shouted 'I've found a j for my name!'
