Lunch for the Reception children

The children stayed for lunch on Thursday and Friday. They had a super time and all of the children having a school dinner,  tried their food, some of them ate it all up! They demonstrated fantastic listening skills and soon understood and followed the lunch time routine.  It was impressive to see how well some of the children can use a knife and fork, this all helps with the development of fine motors skills, leading to good pencil control.

Today they will all be staying for the whole day and eating lunch at school, they will probably sleep well tonight and so will all the teachers!
