Reception Stay and Play!

It was fantastic to welcome the new Reception pupils and their parents/carers into school on Friday. It provided the children an opportunity to explore their new learning environment with their parents close at hand. It also allowed staff to begin building relationships with both children and carers that will be vital for the year ahead. It was lovely to see everyone catching up after the holidays and the children were excited to see their friends as well as their new classrooms. The new interactive whiteboards that have been installed in all of the Reception classrooms were a big hit, and the children already seem to know how to work them better than the staff!
