This week in Maths the children will be focussing on using everyday language related to money. What better way to practice than building our own shop in the role play area! This has allowed the children to develop their language through their play. The children have been highly engaged and the shop has been very busy today and the queues long. The children have been accurately counting out one pennies to pay for their shopping and taking turns as the shop keeper. Some children even began to add to prices together finding the total. The shop will re-open at 8.30am tomorrow, see you there!
"Welcome to Tesco, come and buy something." Nicholas
"That will be three pence please." Zoe
"Thank you for coming, see you soon." Starla
