Reception Star Readers!

There were lots of Star Readers across Reception this week.

Congratulations to Noah Livingstone, Ellie-Jane Putney, Lottie Eve and Tele Onabajo from Apple class, who received their Bookmark Reading Award for reading 10 books. Summer Carruth has now received her Bronze award for reading over 25 books, great job!

Congratulations to Kyle Mitson, Anish Kokulan, Mackenzie Hanmore, Shivangi Zala, Preston McGuire and Vibha Sivakumar from Alder class, who received their Bookmark Reading Award for reading 10 books. Congratulations to Luke Vigors, Nicholas Adeniyi, Jayden Awuah and Vibha Sivakumar from Alder all of whom received their Bronze Award for reading 25 books. And finally to Luke Vigors for receiving his Silver award for reading 50 books!

Congratulations to Maggie Maguire, Nevaeh Gibb-Clark, Maya-Rose Cripps, Ehan Mollah and Praharsh Polisani for being awarded their book marks for reading ten books.  Also a big well done to Charlie Grant for receiving his bronze award for reading 25 books.

Creating a love of reading in children is potentially one of the most powerful ways of improving academic standards in school. Please record your home reading in your Child's Reading Record. Please record all of your home reading including your Child's school storybook, green and red words which you have been practising together, RWI books and any additional books you have shared together. All of these reading sessions go towards the School Reading Awards.
