Animal Experience

We were very lucky to have a visit from Mitch today. He brought an array of animals with him. We met a lizard named Tango, who had orange spots. Tango was very clever, when he felt threatened by a predator he lost his tail to distract them and later regrew it! We also met a 4 year old tarantula named Ace, who could age to 40 years old! "He has 8 legs" said Kyriq. All the children got the opportunity to stroke an owl. Mia said "it feels soft".  The Meer kat named "kitkat" was also a firm favourite.  This curriculum enrichment gave the children the opportunity to make observations about similarities and differences.
