Activity: Ginger Bread People

Baking with your child is a fantastic way to support their communication and mathematical understanding. In the spirit of Christmas, what better way that to bake Ginger Bread! Follow this link to view the BBC recipe.

Physical Challenge

We know how helpful the nursery children are. We thought they might enjoy this sweeping challenge which is great for gross motor skills and concentration. You can use whatever you have at home for this challenge leaves, toys, small brushes, big brushes...bonus points for sweeping real mess!

Please upload any photos or videos of your child joining in with the activities using Evidence Me. You will need to tag your child in it for us to view.

Many of you have understandably chosen not to send your children in this week with the run up to the Christmas Holidays. Havering have confirmed that these absences will be authorised due to the exceptional circumstances as a bubble closure would mean self-isolating (staying at home without mixing) across Christmas.
