Reception Christmas Plans

 

To celebrate the festive season we have lots of fun Christmas events for the children to enjoy this year. The children will still have all the usual party activities, games and dancing within their year group bubble.

Please see below the dates of our events. 

Thursday 10th December - EYFS Christmas Dress Up Day. NON UNIFORM DAY

We will be learning about the First Christmas and singing Christmas songs. It will be a fun-filled day of crafts and nativity activities. 

Non-uniform Day - Nativity theme / favourite festive clothes optional. Please note that the children will be making lots of crafts with glitter and paints. 

Friday 11th December - Christmas Jumper Day

The children will be watching their virtual pantomime in their classes this year.

Tuesday 15th December - Christmas Dinner Day & Bedtime Stories. NON UNIFORM DAY

We will be enjoying our festive lunch together in our bubbles and in the afternoon sharing Christmas stories. Children can come to school dressed in their favourite pyjamas for this event or loungewear.

Friday 18th December -Christmas Party Day         Last day of term

Christmas jumpers and festive headwear day for fun party games.

On non uniform days, please consider the weather as the children will still be playing outside so coats and appropriate footwear are still needed. There is no need to buy anything new for the non uniform events and please use what you already have at home.
