Reception Awards : 04.12.2020

  




We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: Haileigh for your hard work in Read, Write, Inc. Haileigh has been trying hard to segment and blend words together. Well done Haileigh!


Aspen: George for your excellent work in the math sessions! You have worked super hard on your counting, recognising and ordering numbers! Well done George!


AlderNashwan, for making his own set of RWI sounds during his independent learning.He has been testing all the adults and his peers to see how speedy they are with their sounds. You are FAN-tastic!







  Star Writers 

Apple: Jorgie for your brilliant description of your favourite elephant in Elmer. Well done Jorgie!

Aspen: Emmalee, for her fantastic hard work both in school and at home with her RWI learning and letter formation 

Alder: Anya  for a brilliant description of your favourite elephant in the Elmer.  Well done for independently using a sound card to support you. Great Work Anya!




 

Learning Power Awards

Reciprocity: Recognises that children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. This week it has been awarded to: Himanshi, Kayden, Pico and Tesha.


Reflectiveness: Recognises the children that have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. This week it has been awarded to Freddie

Resourcefulness: Recognises children who have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. This week it has been awarded to: Maya-Aisha.
