Reception Awards: 18.12.20

    


We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: Andreea for her amazing Art work, she made a Stickman family, a wonderful Christmas Tree and a beautiful rainbow. She has also been working hard on her Phonics and Maths whilst learning from home. Well done Andreea! 


Aspen: Alana for her excellent effort in the RWI sessions. You have been working super hard to segment and blend words to read and write descriptive sentences in the topic sessions.


AlderAdalind for her hard work this week at home and for learning about shapes whilst baking!   Well done Adalind!








  Star Writers 

Apple: Jessica for her Phonics work this week. Jessica has worked hard on her Reading and Writing whilst learning at home, well done Jessica!  

Aspen: Himanshi for her hard work in the topic sessions and then applying her writing in her self-led work. Well done Himanshi!

Alder:  Anya for her beautiful handing and lovely letter formation! Keep up the great work Anya!

 




 


Learning Power Awards


Resourcefulness: Recognises children who have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This week it has been awarded to: Anna, for her amazing computer skills and self-led learning activities.


Parisa for helping her Mum to make a delicious puff pastry pizza and adding her choice of vegetables onto it and checking the oven to see if it was ready. Well done Parisa!

 
Torsten, for always being so resourceful at home and finding ways to support your learning!
I love this week's maths activity that you helped to create.



Resilience: Recognises that children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patters and been absorbed in their task. 

This week it has been awarded to: Emmalee, for always working so hard in the math sessions and self-led play.
