Reception Awards 23.04.21

                                             

A super well done to this week's award winners! You have all worked incredibly hard and have been rewarded for your tremendous attitude and effort! Excellent work Reception!

E for Excellence


Apple:  Kayden, for the way he interacts with his peers. You have shown kindness to your peers which is fantastic. Anyone is lucky to have a friend like you!


Aspen: Riley, in recognition of  working extremely hard in his RWI sessions and spellings. Keep up the fantastic work! Well done Riley!


AlderMelody for settling in so well to Alder class. You have made some lovely friends, enjoyed playing and learning in both our indoor and outdoor learning environments, completed work alongside your teacher and enjoyed your first week with us. Welcome to the Broadford Family Melody!





Star Writers 

Apple:  Bruno, for his fabulous piece of writing about how he enjoys playing video games. It was great to see you sounding out your words. Keep up the great work!

Aspen: Maya-Aisha, for your fantastic ‘What’s at the top of my beanstalk’ work. Well done Maya-Aisha.

Alder:  Oscar for working hard on his letter formation and sentence writing this week. Excellent effort :-)




Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:  Jessica, for helping others in the construction area outside. It was lovely to see you being a great friend.


Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to: Elsie, for your fantastic plant sowing work and creating an amazing castle for your beanstalk. Well done Elsie!

Tesha , As part of our topic ‘Jack & the beanstalk’, Tesha planted and grew her own beanstalk. She brought it into school to show her peers and we have all thoroughly enjoyed observing it grow this week.  Thank you Tesha!



Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to: Harry, for trying super hard in mathematic sessions especially with patterns. You have learned how to repeat a sequence. Well done!!

Samuel independently joined in with our ‘Days of the week song’ during our carpet time, he copied the actions and joined in with the singing.  It was lovely to see him enjoying it so much! FAN-Tastic Samuel!
