Reception Awards

We have had a great week in Reception.  Another week of amazing learning from our children, it is lovely seeing them making lots of progress.

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: 

Vikhyat, for being super kind to those around you and always allowing others to join your play. You are a fantastic role model. Well done!

Aspen: 


Tiger Lily, all your fabulous creations this week in celebration of the Queens jubilee! Always love seeing what you come up with. Well done!

Alder:

Ikveera, well done for settling so well into your first few days at a new school! You displayed lots of bravery and made lots of new and amazing friends!




  Star Writers 

Apple: 

Harry, for your fantastic letter to the Queen. You worked hard to sound out your words. Well done SUPERSTAR!
Aspen:

Alexandra, for your fantastic writing to the Queen. You worked hard to form your sentences. Well done!

Alder: 

Spencer, for your excellent letter to the Queen. You took your time and wrote a wonderful sentence. Well done!



Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.

Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 
Reading Awards


These children have read five books from our '105 Books to Read Before you Leave Broadford' and have received the Gold Reading Award.
