Marvellous Maths in Reception 




This week in Reception, we practised ordering numbers from smallest to largest. The children also practised subitising with dots and matching them to the appropriate numerals. We concentrated on using key vocabulary such as one more and one less.

Activities:



    Ryan: " 1, 2,3,4,5!" 

Aryan: " It's 5" 





Anu: " 2 comes after 1" 

Ashvik: "  5 is the biggest" 



 Alariah: " We out them in order from biggest to smallest" 

Rory: This ladybird has 2 spots!" 





Inaya: " We have 5 altogether" 

Vanessa: "One more than 3 is 4"
