Reception Awards 09.07.2021

  



We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: 

Chloe,  for being super duper helpful inside and outside. You are fabulous at doing jobs. Thank you for all your help! :)




Aspen: 

Alana, for always trying your best in the math sessions. You have worked super hard this week learning about odd and even numbers. Excellent work Alana!



Alder:


Samuel for working really hard during our Read, Write, Inc sessions this week. Samuel have listened and focussed well. Sounding out and writing some of the sounds! Go Samuel!




  Star Writers 

Apple: 
Ryan, for your fantastic writing about what you enjoy doing at school. You took your time to sound out words and write independent sentences. Well done Ryan!




Aspen:
Scarlet, for your excellent ‘Walk to School’ writing. You have worked really hard to include more detail and description in your writing. Well done Scarlet!


Alder:  
Nashwan, for working hard during Read, Write Inc, Mrs Kupriene told me about your wonderful writing and how hard you have been working in her lessons.



Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:

Blake, for joining in other students play and sharing toys. It is great to see you doing this. Well done Blake!



Joseph, you have worked hard with your partner in Maths this week. It has been lovely to see you working so hard and being so absorbed in your learning! Great Work Joseph!



Amaira, for working hard during our topic work lessons, you engaged well with your talk partner and we saw some lovely discussions during the lesson.





Reflectiveness 
These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 

This has been awarded to:
 
Bruno, for talking about your Math's learning and showing odd and even numbers. Well done Bruno!



Maiyaa, well done for talking so confidently about your learning. You were able to tell the class adults and your peers about the patterns in odd and even numbers. Excellent effort Maiyaa!




Sofia, you identified key features in maths this week, noticing the patterns in odd and even numbers. 
A math superstar!




Ksenija, for being able to tell me confidently about the games you had been playing outside and for communicating so well. You explained the rules so well.


Max, you were able to confidently talk about your learning in maths and all about the odd and even numbers. Some great mathematical reasoning and language used. Keep up the great work!



Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.

Jessica, for trying really hard in Math's this week and challenging yourself to make high even and odd numbers. Well done Jessica!



Anya, for your fantastic effort in maths this week, you noticed the patterns with odd and even numbers! Great work!



Nina, It was lovely to see you so absorbed in your writing task this week, You wrote a lovely sentence
about how to get to school.

Maalik, you have worked hard in maths noticing the patterns with odd and even numbers,.
A maths superstar!


Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:

Rio, for playing so well with the topic box and exploring all the items inside. How cool is it that you can hear the ocean through the big shell!



Amari and Henry, for your excellent woodwork models. You both worked incredibly hard together showing both amazing reciprocity and resourcefulness when designing and making your models.




Sultan, for always using your imagination to build and create dens outside. You are always having such fun!


Melody, for always using the available resources in class to create fantastic drawings. I love to see the masterpieces that you create!



Teacher Happy Award

These children have been award the Teacher Happy for doing some amazing this week

Tesha, for working hard at home to write all the odd and even numbers all the way to 100. 
What a math superstar!



Sofia, for offering to tidy up all the lego in the classroom. The classroom was rather messy and you were superb at tidying up, demonstrating what a great role model you are!
