Reception Awards 16.07.2021







 

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: Qhaleed, for being absolutely amazing in Topic sessions and sharing fantastic ideas! Well done superstar! 





Aspen: 

Amari, in recognition of  your hard work in the RWI sessions and Topic sessions. Keep up the fantastic work Amari!



Alder:

Callissya, for her positive attitude to learning and school life. Callissya always arrives to school with a big smile ready for the busy day ahead. Ensures she follows the school and class rules, such  great role model for her peers.




 Star Writers 

Apple: Cruz, for your fantastic writing in RWI. You should be so proud of how much your handwriting has improved. Well done Cruz!



Aspen: 
Patrickin recognition of  working extremely hard in his RWI and mark making sessions. Well done Patrick!




Alder: 
Pico, for working hard during our topic sessions, you independently wrote a lovely sentence about the magic door. 


Learning Power Awards
These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:

Toni, for always being such a kind friend and helping those around you. You are a great friend to have!



Emmalee, for always being a kind friend to others and encouraging others to join in with her games. Well done Emmalee!


Ayla, for being a great 'talk partner' this week. You listened and communicated well with your partner. Keep up the amazing work.


Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to:

Kezia, for demonstrating resilience and persevering with the interactive maths in class. You worked hard to solve the number problems. Amazing Resilience!


Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:

Nashwan, for always being so creative in school. You always make good use of the resources available in class to make your creations. Superb effort!
