“Tic-tac-toe, give me

lip gloss, bunny ears, Britney Spears, turn
around, touch the
ground. Hi-five, scuba dive”.
Said Emily, teaching Mrs Light a new game.

Outdoor learning
The children have had
lots of fun learning in the garden
with the new climbing
frame. We have been learning to
take turns, develop our big movements (gross
motor
skills) and most importantly how to safely
take risks.

“The centipede is chasing me! It's
running after me!” Alfie said as he was exploring in the
garden |
Enjoying Maths
The children have
been identifying numbers from one to
25. During play the
children have been counting the fish
they collect using
the fishing rod to identify if they have
more or less fish than their friends. This
activity has
helped to develop the
children’s concentration,
determination and
physical skills. Go nursery!

Under the sea
The children have
loved learning about life under the sea
over the past two weeks. This week we have
been
pretending to investigate creatures under the
sea like
the octonauts,
learning new names like sea horse, killer
whale and
anemone.
Next week we start
our new theme: PIRATES!

“Oh no were drowning in the water” said Nikita “Quick quick, down the slide to
safety before the shark gets us… AAAHHHhhhh” Replied Abdul-Hafiiz |

Fun with
