Reception Awards 25.06.2021



 

We have had another great week and there has been so much to  

celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.


                                                                
E for Excellence


Apple: Lily, for being extra engaged this week in independent writing! It has been fantastic to see you taking time to produce absolutely fabulous work! Keep it up :)


Aspen: Billy, in recognition of you always trying your best in the math lessons. You have worked super hard  this week solving subtraction questions. Well done Billy!


Alder: Sultan, in recognition of his contributions to our topic lessons this week. Sultan used some lovely descriptive language to describe the Gruffalo. Keep up the fantastic effort Sultan!








Star Writers 

Apple: Toni, for working super hard in your Topic sessions. You wrote fantastic sentences about your Monster independently. Well done Toni!

Aspen: James, you have been working super hard on your writing skills in the RWI sessions and the Topic sessions. Keep up your amazing work. Well done James!

Alder: Maiyaa, you worked super hard during our topic lessons this week and wrote some lovely sentences to describe the Gruffalo.  FAN-Tastic!









Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:

Aariz, for working well with your peers in Maths sessions. It is great to see you communicating well with others!



Amaira,  you have shown great reciprocity skills in all of your learning this week. Superb effort!


Melody, for collaborating week with her learning partner this week to solve the addition and subtraction number problems! What a superstar!



Reflectiveness 
These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 

This has been awarded to:

Qhaleed, you have worked super hard in topic this week and you have been talking about your learning! It is great to see you excited about your work.





Nikita, you have worked hard in the math sessions, you were able to find one more and one less of a given number. Well done Nikita!






Lucas,  you were able to confidently expo add and subtract numbers to 10 - What a superstar! Keep up the great work Lucas!


Tesha, you were able to confidently explain how to solve the addition and subtraction problems! Amazing effort!


Torsten, for working hard during our math lessons, he was able to explain how he had solved the addition number problems.



Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to:

Isabella, for always giving your best in Maths sessions. There has been some tricky subtraction questions this week but you have challenged yourself.



Ksenija, for working hard to manage distractions and writing a lovely sentence to describe the Gruffalo.



Adalind, for being really absorbed in your maths work this week, It was lovely to see you enjoying solving the addition and subtraction number problems.




Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.

Cruz, for your fantastic construction with the wooden blocks! It looked AMAZING.
