Dress Up Day for National Share A Story Month-
Wednesday 19th May in Reception
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you know, we have been celebrating all things magical for National Share a Story Month. So far we have created mythical beasts and taken over the school's Instagram page. We are thoroughly enjoying the myths and magical stories we are reading in class.
On Wednesday 19th May 2021 we will be having a postponed dress up day for World Book Day.
As you will remember school was closed on World Book Day - a day we look forward to celebrating every year. To make the most of National Share a Story Month we thought there'd be nothing more exciting than dressing up as our favourite characters. Try sticking with the theme of 'Myths, Magic and Mayhem'. Here are suggestions for you: unicorns, dragons, witches, wizards, Gruffalos, trolls, ogres, mermaids, fairies, goblins and monsters - just to name a few!
Please don't feel like you outfit has to be shop-bought. We know how creative our Broadford pupils are so why produce some masks and props at home?
We can't wait to see all of your amazing outfits and we are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day in Reception with you all this Wednesday!
Here are some ideas:
Please email us at eyfs@broadford.havering.sch.uk to contact a member of the Reception Team. Please submit work using a Parent Postcard on Evidence Me. Keep checking the Broadford More Blogs page EYFS Blog Page and Facebook page for updates.
Best wishes
The Reception Team
