Reception Celebrate Eid Mubarak!
Reception had a brilliant day celebrating Eid Mubarak!
The children enjoyed learning all about the holy month of Ramadan and how Muslims all around the world celebrate Eid Mubarak to mark the end of Ramadan. We celebrated Eid in school today by dressing up in sparkly, beautifully patterned and colourful clothes. The children enjoyed learning all about this exciting Muslim festival. They learnt about The Good Deed Tree and discussed what good deeds they would like to add to the tree. The children learnt about the 5 pillars of Islam and decorated their very own henna hands and made beautiful patterns. They made their own Crescent and Star paper plates to celebrate the symbol of Islam. They also enjoyed singing and dancing to Eid songs. The children also enjoyed making Eid greeting cards and loved taking part in all the Eid Arts and Crafts activities.
Reception had so much fun celebrating Eid today.
Happy Eid Mubarak everyone!
