Quote of the week:
“I can’t wait, I love doing my writing, it's so fun!” Ameera N said as she rushed to the mark making table wanting to write her name.
Important notice:
As the weather changes we ask for children to come to nursery wearing sun cream and a sun hat, along with appropriate clothing for British weather.
Thank you
Junk Modelling
The children have been exploring different types of transport and creating their own models using recycling materials.
Inspecting the butterflies
“Look, Look the caterpillars are wriggling,” Aisosa has particularly enjoyed observing the caterpillars moving around.
The children have been learning about the butterfly life cycle and have enjoyed observing how the caterpillars have changed from an egg to caterpillars. The children are in suspense waiting for the butterflies to appear from the cocoon.
“The caterpillars will turn into butterflies, it will grow wings”
Amerah A
BeeBot Programming
The children have been engrossed with using technology in the environment. Accessing the Beebot app on the ipads and learning how to programme the big Beebots to move in different directions. We have had lots of fun.
People who help us: Doctor role play
The children have been enjoying our role play area. They have played doctors, nurses and patients helping each other get better. We have been learning how to keep safe and to call 999 for help in an emergency. The children have used bandages, stethoscopes and medical bags to enhance their play.
