Reception Awards 26.05.2021

  


We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: Ayat, for settling so well into the Broadford family. We have loved getting to know you and it is great to see you making so many friends. Welcome Ayat! 


Aspen: James, in recognition of your amazing construction work. You have planned and designed fantastic construction models. Excellent work James!


AlderKezia, for her positive attitude to learning. For always being a great role model and following school rules and for being a good friend. 






  Star Writers 

Apple: Kayden, in recognition of his fantastic timeline of toys you use from newborn to reception. It was great to see you sounding the words out and trying hard with your letter formation!

Aspen: Osman, in recognition of  working extremely hard in his RWI sessions and spellings. Keep up the fantastic work! Well done Osman!!

Alder: Edward, for working hard in Read, Write, Inc. You have worked hard on your letter formation and name writing. What a superstar!







Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity
These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 

This has been awarded to:

Cruz: your reciprocity skills during free play, you always include those around you and communicate nicely with others!

Adam, you showed great collaborative skills, when working with your partner to identify the different stages of the life cycle of a butterfly and caring for our class butterflies. Well done Adam!

Maiyaa, for showing great reciprocity skills during Maths this week. You listened and collaborated well with your partner. Keep up the great work!




Reflectiveness 
These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 

This has been awarded to:

Tyler, for working hard in Maths this week, it was lovely to see you confidently talking about what 'halving' means. What a superstar!

Haileigh, for thinking carefully about what you are writing during topic sessions. Well done Haileigh!



Resilience
These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to:

Max, for being really absorbed in your Math learning this week. it has been great to see you really engaged in your learning.

Fire, for trying your very best in your Read Write Inc sessions and making sure you do your letter formation correctly. Well done!



Resourcefulness   
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:
Adalind, for working hard in Maths this week. It has been lovely to see you so curious about your learning. Keep up the great work!

Ayla, for showing a good understanding during Maths this week and for always being curious about your learning! Fab work Ayla!

Ivan, for your fabulous creations in the construction area. It was great to see you working in a team to produce slides and castles.
