Reception Home Learning Gallery

  In Apple Class...



Apple Class have worked super hard this week. Andreea retold the story of 'The Little Red Hen' using stick puppets. Chloe made a clock and put the time to 7 o'clock. She also made some delicious fairy cakes! Lily worked hard on her letter and number formation. Ivan wrote short sentences to describe a chicken. Isabella made a clock and decided to put it to 2 o'clock. Nyasa used her sounds to write the CVC words for the characters in 'The Little Red Hen'. Parisa made a clock and put the time to her bedtime 7 o'clock. Robyn drew and labelled her 2D shapes. Teddy worked hard to write his name. Cruz took part in the obstacle course. Jessica worked hard on her Reading and Writing and studied the history of the clock. She decided to make a sundail when the weather gets warmer! Well done Apple Class for all your excellent work this week! 




   In Alder Class...



Excellent work has been happening at home this week. Thank you for sharing all of your hard work Alder class.

Callissya has been working hard on her number bonds and enjoying reading her books.Tesha has been super busy this week, it’s great to see you having fun with 5 a day. Oscar and Adam have made amazing clocks this week at home. Ksenija has been working hard on maths. Pico has been working super hard on his maths and writing work. Torsten had fun making his own loaf of bread this week. Edward has been ordering bears in height order and counting using the three bears from the story Goldilocks. Ayla has been working hard reading her ditty sheets. Amaira has been getting super fit with 5 a day. Nashwan has been super busy ordering and writing the days of the week. Anya has been super busy making her clock for her math work. 


In Aspen Class...

Well done to all of our children and a special thank you to all of our parents. You are doing an amazing job too! It’s great to see all of the hard work and how inventive you all are! It’s great to see everyone’s work! Aryaan labelled his troll and made a wanted poster. Adam has been working hard on his maths and completing his Number Block tasks. Jasmine, Aadya, Ayana, Henry and Thomas have been working hard on their number bonds. Aryaan has written a wanted poster for the troll. Batool has been using her Lego bricks to make bridges and working hard on her writing. Henry and Anna have worked hard completing  this week’s spelling test. Nikita has been working hard on his RWI Inc sessions and reading his daily ditty sheet. It is great to see you following your interests. Adarsh has been creating our solar systems. Don’t  forget to get some outside time too, Thomas went on a winter walk with his family.

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

Nursery: E for Excellence 29.01.21

  

We have had another fantastic week of learning and there has been so much to celebrate and be proud of in Nursery! 

These children worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their determination and efforts.

Alyssia for developing in your confidence so much over the last few weeks. You also made up a story using Tales Toolkit and even added funny bits in to make your friends laugh! We are so proud of you!

Good Morning Reception - Friday 29th January 2021

Please check the updated daily timetable for our live sessions this week and whole school assemblies. Join  Reception Go Live at 2:00pm today. Please email us if you need your child’s login details. We have our 5 daily sessions for you to enjoy today. You have your weekly red word spelling test for week 3 ! You have unlimited access to our favourite exercise and brain break session, 5 a day tv. You can access exciting dance routines and chilled out meditations. Join Miss Mullan for Maths, Miss Hurrell for Topic and remember to have lots of fun and games too!


Reception Home Learning Timetable

Please see the timetable below for Reception home learning sessions and timings. Families can decide the best times for these to take place. However we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour  at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.
