Reception Awards - 15.01.21

                                             

                                   


We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apple: 

Ivan, for solving subtraction number sentences and for your brilliant Wanted Poster. Ivan  wrote a full sentence describing The Big Bad Wolf, well done Ivan! 




Aspen: 

 Emmalee, you have worked incredibly hard this week on your RWI sound sessions, word time and spelling. Well done Emmalee. Thank you for sharing your amazing alphabet song too!





Alder

Ite - For working so hard in all areas of your learning. You are challenging yourself all the time, particularly in Maths. You have amazed us with your work on representing the number eleven and the extra work on number bonds this week. What a superstar!







  Star Writers 

Apple: 

Isabella worked super hard on her letter formation. Well done Isabella! 





Aspen:

Henryfor creating your own Three Little Pigs speech bubble. You designed your own speech bubble and wrote sentences using your sounds. Excellent work Henry!


Alder: 
Ksenija, for your excellent effort with your home learning. You have worked hard in all areas this week in particular in Topic. You wrote some lovely sentences about the Big Bad Wolf. Well Done Ksenija.




Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 


Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to:

Robyn worked hard on her Read, Write, Inc this week. She has been watching the Speed Sound Lessons and working hard on the Ditty sheets to sound out and blend the letters together to form words. Well done Robyn! 




Resourcefulness  
 
These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:

Adarsh, for your amazing solar system work. You selected your own resources and made your own solar system. Fabulous work Adarsh!



Tesha, for using a range of resources at home to help you to make and recreate the story of The Gingerbread Man. Well Done Tesha!



Pippa, for being super resourceful at home and using a range of resources to support your home learning this week. You have worked extremely hard in all areas! What a superstar!



Teddy made cakes which were all different shapes, patterns and colours and had great fun.  Well done Teddy!
