Reception Home Learning Timetable

Good Morning Reception and welcome back! Please see the timetable below for today's Reception home learning. Thank you so much for your continued support and patience yesterday. We had some issues with accessing files and we have now adapted our links and files.

Families can decide the best times for these to take place. However, we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour maximum at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.

Good Morning Reception Friday Days of the Week Song Reading  (10 minutes) Please record your daily reading in your reading records. Read a book or Click here for Oxford Owl electronic  reading books. `	Phonics RWI (Speed sound session 15 minutes) (Word and Spelling Time & Ditty Reading  30 minutes)  RWI Online Ditty Books  One per day These books are aimed at those children who are segmenting sounds and blending to read. Maths (30 minutes)  Link to Maths Teacher Input  Recap: All about number 10   Practice your Number 10 formation Today we are looking at ordering numbers from 0-10. Parents - Please challenge your child by  removing  a number from their ordered numbers.  Ask them if they can spot the missing number? Challenge: Order numbers from 0-20	Topic (30 minutes) Watch Miss Hurrell's Topic Lesson Write a recount about making your Gingerbread Biscuits.  Look back at any photos of the biscuits you made the other day.  What did you do to make your biscuit? Can you write the sentences I can mix or I can cut?	End of day Story (10 minutes) Miss Salisbury reads The Three Billy Goats Gruff Next week’s topic story. Miss Salisbury reads The Three Little Pigs

Red Words Spelling Test

Each week we will be adding 5 red words for your child to practice spelling. We will upload the weekly spelling test video every Friday. Please help your child to practice reading and writing the spelling words.  Click here for a blank spelling worksheet.

Challenge: Write a sentence using each spelling word and send it to your class teacher.
