Reception, you have been working super hard at home and we are so proud of you all. We thought we would share the brilliant work you have been doing at home this week. Thank you for sharing your amazing learning with us!
In Apple Class...
Apple Class have worked super hard this week! Ryan has been working hard on his Reading and Writing. Lily has been solving addition number sentences. Lucia worked hard on her Writing. Isabella has been working hard on her number and letter formation. Andreea worked hard on her Reading and Writing. Cruz has been practising his numbers and working hard on his number formation. Sonny has been practising writing his name and made a fantastic drawing of his favourite toy. Robyn worked on writing her name and wrote out her numbers. Sophie traced over her numbers and worked hard on her counting. Jessica made a Troll mask and acted out the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Teddy learnt all about shapes. Chloe made a brilliant Wanted Poster for the Troll. She used some excellent words to describe the Troll. Parisa has been working hard with her Reading, Fred Talking and blending words together. Nyasa has been working hard on her Maths completing missing numbers and using five and ten frames. Nyasa and Ivan worked hard making different types of bridges whilst learning the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Well done Apple Class, keep up all the hard work!
In Aspen class...
Fantastic work has been happening at home. Well done to all of our children and a special thank you to all of our parents. You are doing an amazing job too! It’s great to see all of the hard work and how inventive you all are!
Nikita has been on his number hunt and combining two groups of objects to make 11. Ayana has been super busy and is completing her RWI, number work and crafts too. Well done for creating a number line beyond 20! Aadya has been on a number hunt and counted over 60 books! Emmalee is working super hard on her sounds. Adarsh has been completing lots of tasks and sharing them too! Jasmine has been working hard on all of her sessions this week and we love how you have adapted the ‘Number 11’ work.
Adam has been getting creative using his Paw Patrol toys as inspiration for his drawings. Oliver and Henry have been retelling the story of the Three Little Pigs and acting out the story using puppets and fancy dress. Anna, Batool and Oliver have been busy practising writing their cvc words. Aadya has been using her blocks to find different ways to make 12. Aryaan has enjoyed deepening his 2D shape knowledge and has been sorting shapes using a Carroll diagram. Adarsh took on the role of teacher and used his whiteboard to retell the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. Ayana has been working hard on her daily lessons but also her home skills and helping with the laundry.
Anya also enjoyed the number hunt challenge and ticking off the number on her sheet once she found them. Nashwan has worked hard completing the missing number challenge. Ite has worked hard representing the number 12 this week in lots of different way - great effort! Adalind (with the help of her Mummy) made the three Billy goats and the troll. They also made a bridge and re created the scene from the story. Ayla has worked extremely hard this week during her Read, Write, Inc. sessions. Pico has been a star baker this week making some banana and chocolate chip cake! Looks Delicious!
