Reception Home Learning Timetable

Good Morning Reception and welcome back! Please see the timetable below for today's Reception home learning. Families can decide the best times for these to take place. However, we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour maximum at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.

Good Morning Message  Days of the Week Song Reading  (10 minutes) Please record your daily reading in your reading records. Read a book or Click here for Oxford Owl electronic  reading books.	Phonics RWI (Speed sound session 15 minutes) (Word and Spelling Time & Ditty Reading  30 minutes  Click here for RWI Online Ditty Books  The ditties can be read 1 per day as part of your child’s daily reading. Maths (30 minutes) Maths Starter Lesson with Mrs Hathaway Today, we are using our 'Ten Frames' to represent numbers up to 10. You can download and print out a ten frame at home or tape out a ten frame on your floor like below. How many squares does a ten frame have?  If I take one object away how many do I have now?	Topic (30 minutes) Reread or listen to the story -The Gingerbread Man.
