The Three Little Pigs.

This week our home learning will be based around the traditional tale ‘The Three Little Pigs’.

We have sent Google classroom logins for the children using Evidence Me. If you have not received your child’s login please email us at eyfs@broadford.havering.sch.uk. (Please include your child’s name and class in the subject line when emailing.)

Reception Home Learning Timetable

Please decide the best times for these to take place. However we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour  at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.

Maths (30 minutes)  Link to Maths Teacher Input Use the counting at home recording sheet.     Children move around the home, counting a range of different household objects.  E.g. How many toothbrushes do you have in your bathroom?     The children then record the totals on their sheets.  Challenge: How many did you count? What is one more than that number? One less than that number?	Session 3
Topic (30 minutes) Watch Miss Hurrell's Topic Lesson Look at the photos and discuss the different houses: Homes Think about where you live. Draw a picture of your home.	Session 4
End of day Story (10 minutes) Miss Salisbury reads Tiddler	Session 5

Red Words Spelling Test

Each week we will be adding 5 red words for your child to practice spelling. We will upload the weekly spelling test video every Friday. Please help your child to practice reading and writing the spelling words.  Click here for a blank spelling worksheet.

Challenge: Write a sentence using each spelling word and send it to your class teacher.
