Dear Parents and Carers,
As you know, we will be posting daily blogs on the school website and on Evidence Me with activities for your child(ren) to engage with whilst at home.
This blog includes:
Story
Activity
Daily Challenge
Preparation for tomorrow's learning
Our daily activities will reflect the adult led learning that would have taken place in nursery so it is important that your child engages with this learning. We will be responding to Evidence Me Parent Shares each week to see how your child is getting on at home.
Story: It’s Lovely when you Smile, read by Miss St Louis
Here is the link to watch the story.
Activity
Nursery have a new bear to meet, called Ginger!
Learn the ‘Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear’ Poem and join in with a listening activity.
Extension: Can you draw a picture of Ginger, his family or his friend Mopsy?
Watch this video with Miss Cumming to join in.
Daily Challenge
Finding objects at home, build a tower. Count how many objects you have used to make your tower.
Tomorrow's Learning
Tomorrow Miss Cumming will be leading a Dough Disco activity. If you do not have play dough at home, you can choose to make some following this simple no cook BBC recipe or even let your child use a soft toy or squeezy ball instead!
We are excited to see your child engaging with the learning!
If you have any questions please do get in touch.
Kind regards,
The Nursery Team
