Nursery: Parent and Carer Blog; Wellbeing

During this time it can be difficult to know who to speak to about the little things or problems that you as parents and carers face. The aim of these weekly parent and carer blogs is to keep you up to date with additional support and where to find it.

Which websites, apps and services are recommended to support wellbeing during this time?

Shout is a 24/7 text service, free on all major mobile networks in the UK, for anyone in crisis. It’s a place to go if you’re struggling to cope and you need immediate help. At the heart of the service is a team of volunteers who take people from crisis to calm every single day. Text to: 85258

The WorryTree app aims to help you take control of worry wherever you are.

You can use the app to record whatever you feel worried about. It uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques to help you notice and challenge your worries. It can also help you create an action plan for managing worry. Webpage Link
