Reception Awards 05.02.21


 


We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! 


These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.


E for Excellence


Apple: Ryan, for working hard in all areas of learning this week. Well done for your super effort with your reading, you are working so hard to blend words together, well done Ryan!



Aspen: Anna, you have been working super hard at home and shown an excellent attitude towards remote learning. Excellent work Anna!



Alder: Anya, for your excellent attitude and hard work. You have been working super hard on all of your remote learning activities! Well done Anya.

 





  Star Writers 


Apple: Robyn for using her sounds to write a brilliant sentence about the character of Goldilocks from Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Well done Robyn!





Aspen:

Olivia, you have been working super hard in the RWI sessions practising your writing skills both in the adult led sessions and during your self led play. Well done Olivia!



Alder: Callissya, you have worked super hard on your Goldilocks writing this week. Excellent work Callissya!



Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 


Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


This has been awarded to:


Sofia, for your fantastic retelling of the story, Goldilocks.


Ksenija, you have worked super hard this week and produced some fantastic writing about Goldilocks.



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


This has been awarded to:

Ava, for your determination to build towers of various height and never giving up when they fell down. You used great vocabulary related to height too! Well done Ava!


Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 


This has been awarded to:

Freddie, for your fantastic playdough writing and working hard on your fine motor skills. 


 Andreea, for following a recipe and making and tasting porridge for the first time. I hope you liked it as much as Goldilocks in our Topic story for this week Goldilocks and the Three Bears!
