This week our home learning will be based around the traditional tale ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears’.

Group 2 readers for Apple, Aspen, and Alder class this morning, a timetable can be found below. We have our 5 daily sessions for you to enjoy today. Our weekly red word spellings for week 4 are ready to look, read, and write! You have unlimited access to our favourite exercise and brain break session, 5 a day tv. You can access exciting dance routines and chilled out meditations. Join Mrs Gradley for Maths and there are additional videos for number formation and Oak National Academy today, Miss Hurrell for Topic and remember to play, play and play!



Reception Home Learning Timetable

Please see the timetable below for Reception home learning sessions and timings. Families can decide the best times for these to take place. However we recommend that the children only sit and work for half an hour  at a time. Younger children can find it harder to concentrate for longer periods of time. It is recommended to have breaks between the sessions.

Using your own  ‘measuring stick’  (this can be a ruler, stick, pencil or lollipop stick) 

walk around the room and find objects that are shorter and longer than your measuring stick .What is the shortest or longest object you have found? Can you order them longest to shortest, and shortest to longest.



Remember: Measure objects lying down.

Red Words Spelling Test

Each week we will be adding 5 red words for your child to practice spelling. We will upload the weekly spelling test video every Friday. Please help your child to practice reading and writing the spelling words.  Click here for a blank spelling worksheet.
