Reception Awards 26.02.21

 

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apple - Toni, for her hard work in all areas of her learning this week. Toni wrote the number 15 and counted numbers 1-15. She also worked hard on her Reading and Writing and spelt three letter words. Well done Toni! 

Alder - Ksenija, for her hard work in all areas of her home learning. Ksenija designed her own superhero costume and chose a name for her superhero. She also worked hard estimating objects up to twenty in Maths. Well done Ksenija!  

Aspen - Batool, for her outstanding work and excellent attitude. Batool has been working hard both at home and in school. It is wonderful to see how much her confidence has grown too! Well done Batool!

 

Star Writers 

Apple - Cruz, for working hard to write your name. Cruz used lego and persevered to make his name. Well done Cruz! 

Alder -  Adalind, for her hard work practicing her letter formation. Well done Adalind! 

Aspen - Ayana, for working super hard on her phonics writing including special friends and cvc words and her topic work "I am super at....".

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.

Oscar, for working well with others to bake a delicious chocolate challah bread. Well done Oscar!

Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

This has been awarded to:

Ivan worked hard and persevered to make his name using lego. Well done Ivan!

Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 

This has been awarded to:

Sonny worked hard and used a variety of different resources to work on his letter and number formation. Well done Sonny! 

Aryaan  worked super hard to solve the addition and subtraction problem! Well done Aryaan!
