Reception Awards 12.02.2021


We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Reception! These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.


E for Excellence


Apple: Adyaan, for his brilliant performance of the poem This is not a Box. Adyaan used his imagination to come up with his own ideas for what to turn his box into such as a car and an ultimate cartwheel garage! He performed the poem confidently and used props in a very fun and creative way. Well done Adyaan!



Aspen: 

Adam, you have been working super hard at school to complete all of your tasks. We are so proud of all of your hard work! Excellent work Adam!


Alder: 

Tesha, for working so hard at home, you have shown a super positive attitude to all of your home learning. It was great to watch your performance of ‘It's not a box!’ too! Well done Tesha!






  Star Writers 


Apple:  Mya, for her hard work with her Reading and Writing this week. Mya has been working hard to blend words together and has been using her sounds to write words. She has also been practising her letter formation. Well done Mya!





Aspen: Ava, you have been working super hard on your writing skills in the RWI sessions and the Topic sessions. Keep up your amazing work. Well done Ava!




Alder: 


Ayla, for working extremely hard on her RWI sessions and spellings. Keep up the fantastic work! Well done Ayla!

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

Aniah-Mai, for working extremely hard at home in all areas.Well done Aniah-Mai.

Haileigh, for persevering with her Maths work. Haileigh has been working hard to recognise and match numbers to the correct amount of objects.

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.

Lucia, for using different Maths resources to solve number sums. Well done Lucia!





Freddie, for his amazing number 15 work. You have worked incredibly hard this week in maths. Well done Freddie!
